E Squared: An Introduction to Entrepreneurialism

This program, run in concert with the Culpeper County High Schools, provides students with the opportunity to learn first-hand the skills necessary to start and run a business. Paired with local business coaches, teams of students compete to create and pitch hypothetical business ventures. The winners of this competition receive scholarships.

Career Expo

In partnership with the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, this event allows high school students to peruse possible career paths and begin to orient their high school studies. The event is run by over 100 community volunteers and is open to all 1200 Culpeper 8th, 10th, and 12th graders.

Mock Interviews

Another program designed to increase Culpeper County high school students’ career readiness, the Mock Interview program requires all 11th graders to produce a resumé and a cover letter and partake in a mock interview. The students then receive live feedback from community volunteers.

STEM and Maker Energy Faire

These two, single-day programs, directed more towards middle and lower school students, are designed to introduce students to the applications of science, technology, engineering, and math in the real world. The two events offer numerous hands-on activities for a fun and memorable learning experience.
