With six elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 2 high schools, the Culpeper County Public School System provides free education to the entire school-age population of Culpeper County. Besides providing this base service, the Public School System is a principal partner in many programs that aim to help their graduates after high school, including the Career Partners program, the Career and Technical School, and the Culpeper County Manufacturing Day.

This event allows high school students to visit local manufacturing plants and learn about their operations. It follows a framework followed nationwide, with over 3000 similar events taking place across the country. More than half of attendees to Manufacturing Day events have said the opportunity increased their interest in applying for manufacturing jobs. The Culpeper Manufacturing Day includes opportunities to visit several of the county’s over 40 manufacturers, including Continental, Bingham & Taylor, and the EC Group.
